Heavenbound Ministries exists to be a blessing by serving the local church. The camp ministry is the main tool they use to accomplish this. They desire to make it a place where God's people can come and get away from their hectic schedules and their busy routines, where lost people can find the Answer to their deepest need, and where God is honored and glorified in everything that is done. They are committed to being available to teach, preach, lead, help, and minister here and abroad, in any way possible, in order to build and encourage the body of Christ. The Holt's purpose is to reach the lost and challenge the saved to a life of greater obedience to Jesus as Lord.

Church Camps/Retreats
All year long, church groups come to have weekend retreats, others come during school breaks, and a host of campers come for summer camps!

Coop Camps
These much anticipated camp weeks are some of the funnest of the year! We host 1st - 3rd graders one week and 4th - 6th graders another week. These camps are usually during the last two weeks of July. Campers from different area churches have made this an annual event for their summer!

Evangelism, Preaching, Teaching. and Discipleship
While managing the camp takes a lot of Turk's time, he also has many opportunities each year to preach at revival meetings, prayer breakfasts, and discipleship weekends. He speaks for many of the camp's chapel services and is actively involved in local high school Christian club meetings. In recent years, God has opened the door for Turk to minister as an interim pastor for several churches in the area.

Missions
God has given our family opportunities to go on foreign missions with Him to Africa and Venezuela. Pray for us as we continue to be obedient in this area and for Kala as she prepares to go into missions full-time after college.

Women's Ministry
Throughout the year, Beth speaks at women's conferences and retreats and often leads sessions and worship at the camp. Another ministry tool God has given is her book, It Is Well, which shares the journey of hope and peace during her mother's battle with cancer.

YOU can be part of this ministry!
How? First, and most importantly ... PRAY! Pray for God's direction as we continue to seek ways to serve the church. Pray that God will receive glory from all that is done. Pray for health and strength for Beth's dad, Coy. He is such a strong support for all that goes on in this ministry and helps Beth cook for every camp. Pray for Turk and Beth as they seek God's wisdom for this ministry and their family. Pray for Kala, Luke, and Isac, that they will grow in their relationship with the Lord. Secondly, you can support this ministry by scheduling a camp for your church group. Lastly, you can become a faith partner with us. Each month, churches, Sunday school classes, and individuals support us financially as part of their missions giving. The prayers and support of God's people enable us to continue with the call God has placed in our hearts ... to reach the lost and challenge the saved to a life of greater obedience to Jesus as Lord!
